Drexel Finance Association is an amazing organization available to all students. Our focus is to develop a network and create a greater presence in the eyes of the finance and big business industry. We have many upper level speakers coming out to our meetings from companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bear Stearns, and more. This organization is not meant to be another finance or business class. Finance material is minimal but will be incorporated. The implementation of DFA was inspired by the fact that schools like Wharton get all of the great career opportunities. We want to create this at Drexel. The organizational stucture is a group effort structure. This means we plan to work in groups and create better opportunities for our students and great exposure to the major firms by putting our ideas together and working as one. There are still some board positions open and can be filled by going through an interview process. We are very open to new ideas. Please keep in mind that we are very new and this organization is not for my benefit or the other board members only. It is for all members as a whole. PLEASE do not think that since we are a Finance association that we are limited to finance majors. This organization will rely heavily on marketing, communications, C&E, MIS majors, etc. our involvment with growing this organization with great ideas should be instrumental towards you professional career.
