These are pictures from the 2001 Navy/UMD weekend. Rob, Lou, Mike, and myself were racing. Mrs. Castellan took the photos.

This is what the WidowMaker at Navy did to Lou... What you don't see is Rob around the corner puking into the bushes. It's a hard course, lots of sprinting and nervy cornering. Lou really wrecked himself this day, he complained about chest pains the rest of the afternoon and evening. Rob finished well and Lou was going really strong until he totally blew up trying to bridge up to the lead group and collapsed like this. The gravestones make a nice touch.
