This was the year my generation of members started riding with
the club (Jake, Dan, Junior, etc).

When I asked Mark Abramson if we could use some of his pictures from this
race, he replied:

Apparently, immediately after this picture was taken Zeph hit the dirt
and the tree, pretty much as you would expect to happen. Mark must have
been on the lookout for people about to crash so he could get pcitures.
Or, alternatively, maybe he was causing them; they seemed to happen
whenever he was around...
