Regular attendance (minimum once a month) is required to stay on the latter. (Case by case basis.)
If you wish to be removed just request.

To move up the ladder you can challenge up to two spots above you. (ex. 5 can challenge 3 or 4)
Special cases can be made in the event of absences.
To move down the ladder just lose, it is not hard to do.
