Welcome to Fall Term 2009 at Drexel University! Over the summer, we participated in New Student Orientation: Late Night Activities, so some of you may remember us from there. (We had the Super Smash Bros. Brawl table.)
Also, we had some changes to the TechServ organization this summer:
- Jack Hill transferred to MIT, so we will be looking for a replacement for the office of Treasurer.
- Most of the old Pentium II systems were disposed of, since they're the worst systems we have and we were running out of space in the room.
- We donated several Dell Precision 530s to The Foundry in Wallingford, PA.
- We received several donations of fairly recent machines, including over 20 Power Macintosh G4s and four Titanium PowerBook G4s from Drexel CoMAD.
- Additionally, we took some SPARC machines that Drexel's ECE department was getting rid of.
